Division of Workplace Safety
The Division of Workplace Safety is dedicated to protecting and improving the health and safety of the employees of the City of Muskogee. Our ultimate goal is to prevent injuries and send everyone home safe to their families. In order to prevent these accidents and injuries, we train our employees to follow safe work procedures and wear the proper personal protective equipment.
With the implementation of our Safety Plan on December 6, 2016, we tasked ourselves with the following objectives to improve our culture of safety
- Create a Safety Committee to define issues and find solutions
- Identify training needs and fulfill them
- Set goals to reduce accidents and injuries
- Include all levels of employees in safety activities and trainings
